The SBDC began working with Mid-America Automation in the midst of its second expansion as the company sought tax incentives for real estate and equipment. Not only did Mid-America add another 13, 000 square feet to its facility, just off Kansas Road in northeast Vanderburgh County, but Louis Meredith and his partner, Don Robinson, are looking to fill another 15 positions in the future. The company will soon employ 35 as compared with 11 people in 2006.
