Women and Minority Owned Businesses

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is a national advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America’s corporations. It is also the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States.

The Indiana Minority and Women Business Enterprises Division is a multi-purpose service agency for all Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE).

The primary mission of the Indiana Business Diversity Council (IBDC) is to promote and cultivate successful minority enterprises within the Indiana business community. The IBDC serves as an advocate for the economic well-being and growth of IBDC-certified MBEs while also providing a direct connection for corporations who are committed to purchasing products and services from EBDC-certified MBEs.

The Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise Program is a joint initiative of the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County. It was established in order to provide opportunities for businesses that are owned by minorities or women.

The State of Indiana offers a wealth of online services for businesses.

Entrepreneur.com is also a great website for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

“The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana has been a huge asset to our businesses. Our membership allows us to be better involved in the community.”
